- HHollyVirginia •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe food was wonderful, buffet style, so some items were not piping hot. The ambience is great, the service was wonderful. Christmas Eve at Restaurant 1915/The Bear Mtn. Inn will be a new tradition.More infoRestaurant 1915 and Blue Roof Tapas Bar - Bear MountainPrice: Very Expensive• American• Bear Mountain•4
- SShariGreater Boston •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWhat a lovely place! I went for breakfast this time (dinner last time). It was just perfect. I ordered the smoked salmon avocado toast which was both delicious and beautiful. An off-menu order of a couple of egg whites was easily accepted. Strangely, the egg whites were absolutely delicious! I stay "strangely" because how can egg whites be great? But they were! Do yourself a favor and go to Apropos for any meal or just a drink or dessert. You will be glad that you did!More infoApropos Restaurant at The Abbey InnPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Peekskill•4.5

- JjaneNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined on 12 Dec 2024We had a lovely lunch at the Thayer. The fried chicken was expertly seasoned and the best I've had. Crunchy where it should be and juicy and tender inside. The Cole slaw was just right. Great snap to the fries. The other dish was the Chicken Salad club. Hit every mark and totally enjoyed it. We also ordered the soup of the day and the only mishap was it was brought out not piping hot. A quick word to the waiter and the soup was retuned and the temperature was corrected. In fairness, most restaurants never serve piping hot soup, which they should. We had a view of the Hudson and the ambiance of the hotel and restaurant is old world elegance. The price was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. We will definitely go back. It would be a fabulous place to watch the autumn colors. Next time.More infoMacArthur's Restaurant at The Historic Thayer HotelPrice: Very Expensive• American• West Point•3.7
