Restaurants near North Prairie Lee Park

It was a pleasant place for a happy hour. Our food and drinks were very good. Friends with us loved their pineapple martini. I found a draft of my favorite beer. The shaved prime rib sliders were absolutely delicious, and just right for our light late afternoon appetites. Our friends enjoyed the sliders, shrimp and cauliflower. The server was excellent, visiting our table in a timely, unobtrusive, but thoughtful manner. She was polite, helpful, efficient and pleasant. As the room filled, the noise level rose, making conversation more problematic, but we had come early enough that it didn’t impact our dining. Good food with good friends. Love the food…without a doubt best food anywhere!! However, last night when we were there, it took 20 to 30 minutes to even be greeted at our table … a waitress noticed, and took care of us after that 

Big problem with the handicap parking and getting in the building. We had to walk a long distance to get into the building because the front door was blocked due to the walkway having wet cement. Our friend is disabled and has a problem walking. There was no information when we arrived that we needed to go t o the back of the building to enter. We frequently go to Houlihans for lunch and dinner and have never had issues in the past. This was not a good experience. Sharon Jacob

It was a great experience for KC Chiefs fans! The Christmas decor, appetizer and drink options, photo ops, ambiance...superb!

Saturday nights are difficult to get in, even with having an open table time. Red Lobster uses it like call ahead seating. It got us in a bit sooner, but probably waited a good 20-25 mins from the time we had gotten with open table. We're well aware that if you don't go early or later to these busy places you are most likely going to wait, even with using open table. I heard one person come in and say they tried Texas Roadhouse 1st and it was 1½ hr wait. They came over to Red Lobster and were told 40-50min wait without an open table spot.
