Restaurants near North River Mills Historic District

The food was delicious and the service outstanding. Our waiter, Shannon, was so knowledgeable about the resort and he was awesome.

The food is always delicious and generous portions. The service was very good and the ambiance of the restaurant is excellent. We regularly Mert friends and family there for a wonderful meal.

We loved being on the enclosed patio but once the lunch crowds rolled in we could barely hear each other. It was the Christmas season so not terribly unexpected but disappointing for me because I was conducting a business lunch. Will return for personal dining. The beet salad was wonderful.

Incredible!!! We tried the four course tasting menu and it was so delicious, fresh, original, top notch cuisine. Service was absolutely on par. The wine pairing was very good. Prices are a little high but compared to other local options, this place is well worth splurging on. A++++

This was our second visit to Village Square Restaurant and we enjoyed it. It’s good but not great. The ambiance is the best thing going. Comfortable, dim lighting, active fireplace, brick walls…feels a bit like a Colorado ski lodge. We’ve only dined here for lunch. The food is solid. (We’ve reviewed the dinner menu, which seems more special.) Martinis were done nicely, although the pours aren’t generous. We started with a dozen raw oysters, nice presentation. For entrees, my wife enjoyed the pot roast French dip. Good dish. I had the lobster roll. Also good. Devlin, our server, was very nice, personable, but service was slow at times. Overall, a positive but unremarkable dining experience. Even though we haven’t been here for dinner, I’d recommend Village Square “blindly” before doing the same for lunch.
