Restaurants near Oakamp Playground

We loved Cap City when we lived in Columbus, and we are happy to see it come to Cincy. The service is exceptional. We made two separate online reservations for a large party, and the manager and hostess went out of their way to combine our reservations into one large table. The wait staff was patient and helpful. The kitchen is super accommodating for food allergies and preferences, including a separate gluten free menu with lots of options. We had a party of 11 with some apps, some alcohol, and some desserts with our meals and still left with a bill under $500, including gratuity.

Our dining ex̌perience was fantastic. I heard so much about Sotto and it did not disappoint. Our table of 4 had the following appetizers: ahi tuna, the octopus, and the goat cheese bread. All were delicious!! Our entire consisted of the short rib ravioli the mushroom pasta, the pork, and the white Truffle pasta. Again...all delicious. For dessert, we had the gellato and the doughnuts...Again these were fabulous.

We had a wonderful experience at Somm and will definitely be back! We had a quiet, enjoyable dinner for our anniversary. We enjoyed a wonderful bottle of rose, the charcuterie board, and the filet, and they were all incredible! Our waitress was personable, friendly, and quick! Highly recommend Somm!

Christmas dinner with friends could not have been more perfect. It is rare that every bite and every sip is excellent; yet, this was the case during this dinner. Service was present, timely, and efficient, but not disruptive. And the view… well, you are not going to beat that anywhere else in the city. Great location for a special occasion, and the bill was not a mortgage payment. Great experience and value.

Chris, our server was outstanding. Food was great. 2 tops are very cozy, can hear everything. I’d try a bar table next y time
