Restaurants near Ocean Beach Hotel

Everything was perfect- the food, the service, even the beautifully decorated patio. It was a chilly night and we were concerned we would be cool dinning outdoors, but the heat lamps did the trick. They also offered throw blankets, but they were not needed. We enjoyed several different dishes, but the octopus and lasagna were my favorite!

We had a wonderful early evening dinner. Our waiter was kind, informative, courteous and timely. The fajitas, mahi tacos, carne asada nachos, and Tres Leches Cake and margaritas were delicious. Parking was plenty and free. The views of the city at night with the Christmas lights was stunning.

Elvira could be described as a well balanced atmosphere providing a heartwarming and subtle touch of classic roman-italian home living with a modern spin.

Have been a Fan of C Level for many moons....like a hidden jewel. The most spectacular view of our San Diego water, the Coronado Bridge and Down Town SD!! The food and service was tip top!!! Cannot recommend them enough. And super close to the airport and car rentals. It's a Win Win!@@@ Thank u C level!!! Until our next "date" AND I almost forgot "Monica" was Supendous!!!

We went on a day the OB Farmers Market was going on and I'm glad we did. This establishment is very small and doesn't have room for many eat in customers. That said, our server was great in spite of the fact that she was the server and cook- basically running the place by herself. There were a couple of other customers but she handled everything with grace and aplomb. The pizzas we ordered were very tasty and we took advantage of the 50% off a couple bottles of wine and were happy with the selections. All in all we were very happy with our dinner. The only fly in the ointment was the presence of a lot of house flies- no doubt due to the propped open front door. They came in for the food too apparently. Despite that we will be going back as we liked the food and server/cook.
