Casa Vega, in Sherman Oaks, opened its doors in 1956 and has been serving the people of Southern California ever since.     We had a great time with an amazing view. Perfect day. The food was fantastic, although I think you’re a little proud. It’s just eggs Benedict. I appreciated the passion of the young waiter, but him telling me what his “favorite” cheese, on the charcuterie platter isn’t necessary. I’d imagine most people who are coming to a place like this have much more culinary experience than the assumingely slick young waiter recommending the most expensive things on the menu.  maybe I’m wrong and I underestimate the “general public”, but everything was just, fine, the  ambience was fantastic. Come for the view, the food is , fine.

    We have always enjoyed coming to the Front Yard. The menu is unique, in both food and drink, the service is always wonderful, and the food delicious. Our only comment for this meal was that the charcuterie board was pretty sparse for $24. Didn't feel like the value equaled the price, while the other shareables and entrees were closer matched quantity/quality to cost.
