Restaurants near Palermo Park

This is my forever favorite restaurant. Chef Pascal recently sold it & we were skeptical. The food remains great. Chef Danny follows in the steps of Chef Pascal & continues to deliver quality dishes, especially the cheese souffle & filet mignon. However, many touches were missing. The walls were stripped of the artwork & the place feels bare. There were no fresh flowers on the tables; flowers they were replaced with generic touch lamps. The amuse bouche is no longer given & they ration the bread. You receive one piece of bread per person, which although delicious, was not enough. Of course, you can ask for more, but where is the breadbasket? Chef pascal would always prepare an off-menu pasta for our son what was so divine. It was simple buttered noodles with cheese, but it was so decadent. Unfortunately, this time it was tasteless. A huge draw of this restaurants were always the souffles. Now, the only souffle available is the Grand Marnier; chocolate & pistachio souffles are longer offered). Lastly, Pascal would always send petits fours gifted with dessert. Those are gone, too. These might seem like small details, but they were what made Pascal's on Ponce extraordinary. The food continues to be good & the service was fantastic, but the essence has changed. I hope the new owner realizes that these were the touches that drew faithful clients to Pascal's for years. Overall, excellent dining experience with delicious food & good service. We will continue to go but hope some of those fancy touches return because it made the place more special.

Great place with amazing decor and atmosphere. Nice disco type music playing. Great service and the food was great also. My first time was with my wife and friends. This time it was a business dinner for 5. All was excellent the lomo saltiado and 3 ceviche combo for 2 people is was excellent. Everyone loved their dishes. Even the 3 gringos loved it…LOL! The Charapa was great also. Thank you so much will definitely be back

I am a loyal patron of Zucca. It has become a staple of mine for both personal and professional engagements. In fact, I am hosting a 20 person event on Wednesday, Jan 15th at the restaurant (7p). I am bringing in professionals from around the state of Florida to kickoff my Miami Retreat. It would be ideal if my longstanding server, Danielle, could have her schedule adjusted so that she could work that evening and service our table. Celebrated my birthday here! Service was amazing, food was delicious, drinks were spectacular, 10 out of 10 recommended!

Restaurant is beautiful inside and the service is great! Manchego croquetas, bacon wrapped dates, beef carpaccio were delicious! Cocktails are awesome. I really wanted to award five stars but they were out of the BELLOTA ham and their prosciutto and cheese plate was just OK. The live music was really good and the DJ play great music. One suggestion is to make the entrance a bit more appealing… The place is very elegant inside, but has a gloomy looking entrance door in the lobby.
