Restaurants near Palmetto Plaza Shopping Center

We had an awesome experience this time around for dinner! The Resturant was so busy with folks but able to accommodate and provide incredible service and a delicious meal. Our server was Tyler J. He did a fantastic job as he was hustling all night! We were politely greeted and offered time to get appetizers and enjoy our meal. The Fried Shrimp Po Boy and She Crab Soup were just on point! The service was so quick -yet thorough. Tyler kept our drinks refreshed and anything we needed he was on it right away, with a smile. Our food was delicious and hot. Our reservations were honored and we used our generous gift card to enjoy our meal. We sure did enjoy ourselves. We were able to have fun, stay on time -and make both the Gamecock baseball and basketball games Saturday night! Thank you again for an amazing dinner experience!

Everything about our experience was great, except for the room we were in. A large part of the experience at Saluda's is the beautiful main dining room. We were put in a private dining room that is a cold square room with no decor whatsoever, especially compared to the main dining room. I asked if we could be moved as we were being seated and they said they were too crowded. It would have been nice for them to ask if it was ok to seat us there before they took us to the table, because that was not stated when we made the reservation. However, the drinks, service, food and wine were all very good!! We love Saluda's but were surprised about the auxiliary room. We will go back, but we will ask about seating next time!!

The board with variety of steak was perfect for our group. The food was delicious and the service was great. Prajna and Victoria kept us well taken care of. The wine list and bourbon options were perfect and paired well. We finished off with a variety of desserts and they were all delightful!!! We will be back.

We had our doubts when we pulled up and didn’t really see much of a parking lot or restaurant for that matter, but this place is phenomenal! I live in Blythewood but work on Shaw AFB. It was literally half way between the two and my husband was able to meet me after work, so it might be a little hike, but absolutely worth it! Absolutely 100% recommend trying Mill Pond.

Mary was our waitress and she took very good care of us for our anniversary. She is very knowledgeable in several stations at Red Lobster. She fixed our drinks from the bar when we arrived. Then she chipped in and waited on our table. She checked on us several times and helped me with the portal when checking out our Bill. She made us feel special and was a fabulous waitress. Food was cooked to our liking and we would definitely go back.
