- WWilliamVIPPortland / Oregon •86 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe December Peking Duck meal is one of the best meals we’ve ever had in Portland and we look forward to December when it is always offered. They stopped doing this for a few years after COVID and we’re so glad it’s back and better than ever! The duck is amazing, so much so that we’re coming back later this week to have it again. A unique and wonderful experience that included exceptional service.More infoDeparture Restaurant and LoungePrice: Moderate• Contemporary Asian• Downtown•4.4
- DDeePortland / Oregon •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur server, Gage, was the best the service industry has to offer. Knowledgeable, patient, funny, attentive, friendly - all of these. He made the experience over the top. I’m vegetarian, so while im not the one to review the steaks and other meat entrees, my companions ooooh’d and ahhhhh’d over their steaks and chicken. I had a steakhouse salad and a baked potato (hold the “loaded” part) and their lemon dressing was divine. The potato was a beast and I shared it with my husband. Appetizers of stuffed mushrooms and seared ahi were thoroughly enjoyed. The mushrooms were complimented for their depth of flavor. Everything here is heavy on the palate and the waistline because butter and oil + flavor. This was a very special occasion so we did our best to enjoy them guilt free. The crème brûlée was the scene stealer at the end. Perfection. Very pricey, but we enjoyed the highest quality food and service. Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse is one of those places that you should experience at least once in your life.More infoRuth's Chris Steak House - PortlandPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.7
