Beneath the hotel, a bank vault and offices were occupied by the Manufacturers Trust Company until 1980. What began as an idea for a small space in New York’s East Village has since become a downtown New York staple, housed on the Bowery for the last ten years. Came over from the UK for second time and saw some good reviews on Nick & Stef’s so thought we would give it a try and have to say it was superb the food was excellent the service was great and the overall experience was worth every penny couldn’t recommend it high enough and would definitely come back. Thought the food and service was way better than Benjamins

I don’t recall his name but our server was outstanding! Pleasant, fun, and helpful. The family talked about what a great vibe he brought to dinner! We go as a family every time we go to NYC (our third trip) and food is always delicious, with PLENTY to go around. Also appreciated the water pitcher on the table. As a large family (table of 9), it’s so much easier to keep the water glasses full ourselves. Thanks again!!
