Restaurants near Peppertree Park

My son and I decided to visit the Huntington Beach Fogo de Chao to celebrate our birthdays. It’s such a beautiful restaurant and great ambiance. We did the brunch and had a wonderful time! There was a party going on in separate room was close to 40 guests, but we did not feel neglected at all. We both had helpings of the rib-eye, lamb and lamb chops, filet, New York strip and bacon wrapped steak. Our favorite was the lamb chops. The sides were delicious and the fresh made chimichurri was a perfect accompaniment to the meats. Our server was personable, professional and attentive. We felt well taken care of. Tea was nice. Some of the sandwiches had dry bread and the egg salad had onion in it. Desserts were good. It is sad that it is billed for 2 when some people don’t have 2 people in their party or a group of 7 or 9 cab’t be arranged. Music was not appropriate for a Christmas tea… should be Christmas music. Overall, it was nice for a one time visit, but not for multiple visits.

Reservation at 5:30 was perfect. The live music started at 7. That allowed us to order a couple bottle of wines and apetizers. Then we enjoyed our meal to live jazz music. Great time highly recommend. The service was elite level. Roberto and his team were very attentive and gave us a one of a kind experience. We came for my Wife's bday. She got a birthday sign, they took a photo and printed it out of us and we got a nice cheescake dessert. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Their food and options for thanksgiving dinner were very good. Only bummer is that they ran out of the flan which was very good and some other desserts were out too. They had very good kids options: fruits, tortilla chips, milk, chocolate milk, cereal, gogurts. Staff worked really hard and the restaurant was very busy even though it was thanksgiving day.

If you've never been to Irrawaddy's you need to try it. I brought two other couples there for a special meal and it was fantastic. We ordered all of our food "family style" so everyone had an opportunity to taste the different dishes. Everything was delish! We started out with the Paratha Bread, the Tea Leaf Salad and then each person ordered a main dish (all of which were great). My only complaint is that they are in Stanton and it's a long drive from all of our cities (Orange, Huntington Beach and Costa Mesa) respectively, but worth the drive. Can't say enough good things about this place!
