Restaurants near Phoenician Resort Courses

Afternoon Tea never disappoints. My daughter and I attend every year. We are cocooned in a soothing ambiance, with a soft hush overall, with attentive friendly staff and always plates of delicious savory and sweets.

We chose to have Christmas dinner at Mowry & Cotton because they offered extensive ala carte choices in addition to an appealing fixed price menu. Everyone enjoyed the dishes they ordered, and portions were so generous that leftovers had to be boxed and taken home. Accessibility was a factor for the oldest member of our group, so were seated on the main level. A ramp provided easy access to the lower level of the dining room and the outdoor patio seating. This was our first visit to Mowry & Cotton. We all agreed that we would return to sample non-holiday brunch, lunch and dinner options ... and we look forward to dining on the patio.

J&G is our favorite place for special occasions. Third time there this year. They were overrun on Christmas Eve. The bar area was woefully understaffed. Our table was ready 30 minutes late. But our server Jeff was fantastic and made up for the very rough start in the bar. And they comped our drinks from the bar without prompting. The bar server is great - but he was alone with full dinner tables set up for Christmas Eve and a crush of folks waiting for tables. I felt sorry for him. Jeff told us that it was the busiest he’s ever seen it in 11 years. Management should have seen this coming. It the food was great and we enjoyed ourselves. We will be back.

I had an incredible dining experience here. The atmosphere was chill and the staff were attentive. The Christmas Eve sea bass special was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I also loved pub salad with salmon. Everything was well-presented and served promptly. This is definitely a place I’d recommend for dinner. Can’t wait to come back!

We celebrated my husband’s birthday on Christmas Eve. Everything was wonderful. We had the branzino fish. It was prepared exceptional. Our waitress was very efficient and endearing. The last thing I would mention is the noise level. So many restaurants in Scottsdale play very loud music which brings up the level of sound to make it unable to talk to someone sitting right next to you. Ocean 44 was perfect. We could slightly hear the music but enjoyed talking to each other
