After having a poor experience a month ago for my husbands birthday the Hotel Sutter Restaurant sent us a gift certificate. Our dinner last night was totally different ( positively amazing)! We started downstairs at the Copper Room Bar (great drinks and great ambiance and very versatile bar tender). We then upstairs to the restaurant and was given a choice table and an additional scotch which we had in the Copper Room. The dinner ( veal shanks and a wedge) was absolutely delicious! We were treated to ice cream and homemade carmel sauce ( again very yummy). The Hotel Sutter Restaurant has renewed our faith in coming back. Thank you staff at the Hotel Sutter Restaurant. I encourage any visitor to Sutter Creek to enjoy a special meal at the Hotel Sutter.

Very nice dinner. Excellent service and was very good. My husband had the ribeye and it was outstanding. I had a halibut special and it was good. Huge portions for sure. Had bread pudding and it was enough for our entire party to share. We will for sure come here again.

We had a great anniversary dinner. The restaurant wad quiet and comfortable. Our sever was attentive and they even gave us a dessert. We will be back!

Excellent spot for a special occasion! Portions a little small, but maybe we were really hungry. Service was wonderful, and ambience is amazing. Thank you for making my father’s birthday special.

The food was amazing. The homemade brown bread was hot and soft, served with whipped butter and maple butter! My filet mignon was cooked just the way I like it! Seared on the outside and a perfect medium on the inside! We had the toasted pecan cheesecake for dessert! Probably the best cheesecake I’ve ever had! Our server was great too! Will definitely be back!!
