Restaurants near Plaster Park

Five of us enjoyed food and drinks at Barrister’s for a post Thanksgiving celebration. The shrimp and grits are in my husband’s top 10 for all the shrimp and grits dishes he’s tried at various restaurants. My brother and sister had steaks and loved every bite. A fried squash appetizer kept everyone happy until the entrees came, and the desserts were delicious. The service was outstanding. We look forward to eating there again soon.

This was our first time to Drift. We were welcomed at the door, and even though we were early, our table was ready immediately. Menu had a wide selection to choose from. Our server Meagan was amazing, very attentive. Food was cooked perfectly to our preference. We both ordered the Drift Signature dish. Celebrating our anniversary here was ideal. A glass of champagne was brought to us along with our dessert. Managers checked on us at the end of the evening and we were so glad to give a raving review. Will definitely return.

Just a perfect night for a family of four. Charles was the best waiter we’ve ever had and we’ve had some really good ones. Steaks were perfect and service was spot on. One thing that was palpable was how kind and pleasant the people at the front desk were. This has not always been the case and in fact, we have made fun of the fact that there was a competition to how well they could ignore you. NO MORE! They greeted us enthusiastically. Overall a great night!

We were greeted by a friendly and welcoming host. Our waiter was impressive with his knowledge of the cuisine and explanation of some customer favorites. We also appreciated the photographer on hand. Her pictures were very well done. Our table purchased four group pictures. The ambiance was beautiful and positive. We enjoyed our time and recommend Kitchen & Kocktails by Kevin Kelley - Charlotte for everyone.

Like all restaurants the noise level was high at lunch. There were only two of us. But the service was excellent as well as the service. My friend’s favorite was the cauliflower appetizer and I loved the loaded baked potato as well as the special chili. A highlight was crème brûlée that was a surprise birthday dessert! I have to say I can’t wait for the weather to permit eating out on the patio. Hope I don’t have to wait too long till spring! But I will definitely be back!
