We want BJ's to be a place where the moment you leave is the moment you plan on coming back. We pride ourselves in our craft and attention to detail. Our guests come here for our award-winning handcrafted beer. They come here for the Southern California twist we've put on the Chicago-style deep dish pizza. And they come here for our Pizookies®, our world-renowned dessert. But above all we know people come here to make their good times better. So in many ways we haven't just crafted a brand, but a mindset. And our guests are the reason for this. Located on the grounds of the Oak Creek community, the Grove stems from a rich history that began in 1819, where the original eight hundred and fifty acres of land was filled with Oak trees that has now become the foundation for this community. The word Grove serves as a metaphor between the many families who represent our community and a group of oaks which is the symbol of “strength” and “endurance”. The Grove is a casual fine dining experience meant to bring family and friends together. Sleek, inviting, and comfortable design elements makes The Grove the perfect place to Be, Eat, and Celebrate.

They have had since 1856 to perfect the art of service. They have not wasted a bit of that time. We had a server and he was fantastic. With that, the entire brigade worked as a fantastic machine and supported the goal of quick and perfect service for the guest. I have never had apps arrive so quickly at a restaurant before. I even threw another order in while ordering our main course and it was on the table 2 minutes later. The quality of the food is top notch as well. The roast beef sandwich had a bit of bite on it that was unexpected but definitely not unappreciated. As I was dinning with my 13 year old son tonight, I also appreciated the non alcoholic options on the drink menu. It was great to have a delicious option that wasn't a soda. Overall, this is a MUST for any visit to DC.

The Grove is a hidden gem. The food was very good and the service was excellent. It is a good place to go for a nice dinner with good size portions at a reasonable price. The ambience was nice with an upscale crowd. The hostess Ms. Ethel is very knowledgeable about The Grove and treated us like family. I highly recommend The Grove and will definitely return.
