- TTimWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoBeing from out of town, I only know that Portland has a reputation as a great food place. This was our first dining experience on an extended visit, and it may be pretty hard to top. Cocktail I started with was great, as was the beef carpaccio started we shared. My duck was perfect, and the risotto it sat on was really interesting and a great accompaniment. My wife's haddock looked amazing (I believe she confirmed that it was). Since we were pretty much the only diners there in that half of the restaurant (away from the bar), it was nice and quiet; eventually another small group arrived (it was a Monday night). The servers were helpful, attentive without being obtrusive, and friendly. Great neighborhood spot; I'd love to have a place like David's near me. I'll definitely be back before our stay in the area is over.More infoDavid's 388Price: Expensive• Bistro• South Portland•4.8

The food and wine I had were delicious and the restaurant itself is attractive and offered great service. My group had a great time and I'm sure we'll be back.More infoDavid's RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Portland•4.7

- SStephenLittle Rock •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis was my fifth visit, so it’s clear that I love driving over from Peterborough, NH to eat with you all. I was delighted, this time, to introduce a group of friends with whom I traveled to Sardinia this past year, a group of folks who travel widely, often together and often throughout Italy, and they all agreed with me that I this is the best Italian meal we’ve had outside of Italy, and better than much we’ve had in Italy. Meghan, our server, was absolutely fabulous, as was Lydia, who simplified the process of our adding a seventh person to the party at pretty much the 11th hour. Thank you to both of them.More infoSolo ItalianoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Portland•4.7
- MmiaGreater Boston •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoI want to move to Portland just so I can frequent The Lucky Cheetah. The decor was stunning and the seating was so comfortable. The ambience itself was just perfect. The playlist was something I would’ve personally picked. The Jaded Lover cocktail was so delicious and refreshing. We loved every single bite we had, but our favorite was the sesame beef bao. The oxtail noodles were absolutely delicious (although I had never had oxtail and was intimidated but so glad I tried). Not to mention we were 20 minutes late for our reservation due to traveling and the hostess was so understanding and helpful. Our server had great recommendations as well. We can’t wait to come back 🍀🐆More infoLucky CheetahPrice: Expensive• Chinese• Portland•4.6
