We are a high-low, fine-casual concept making simple, seasonal American cuisine inspired by the culinary traditions of Italy, France, & Spain. Coming from metro Phoenix which has great food, we have been pleasantly surprised by the many wonderful restaurants in Bellingham. But Carnal is a cut above. Big city vibe, and creative menu. A tad on the pricey side, but well worth it.

My wife and I went for a date night to try a new place. We try a new one each month and this month was Sliced. I had the Pastrami sandwich and my wife had the Bison burger. Both were well prepared and cooked to perfection. As we eat with our eyes first, I noticed the meals were plated neatly on slabs instead of plates which was a cool look. The service staff was very helpful, cheery and polite. Overall this was a great dining experience for us and we will be back again.
