One of the last great restaurants- Incredible service both at the bar and in the dining room. Amazing classic Italian dishes done right and consistent every time.

Dinner was very good. The music is played at a very high volume that conversation was difficult. We asked the hostess to have the music lower a bit and her response was; let me ask the manager. Volume was not lowered; we then asked our waiter and he immediately made the miracle of listening g to the request. Definitely too high of music volume.

Best service ever! Food was delicious and always a treat to go to Iron Gate.

Overall, the food was very good. Their tacos were yummy and their chips and salsa are really great. Their Carnitas were really good and so were their chicken enchiladas. Was not so impressed with the guacamole because it had a lot of other stuff in it not just avocado and spices. Also, the rice wasn’t terribly exciting, but it wasn’t bad. The service was outstanding. The cocktails were great and I think it’s a fun place to go eat and the food is good

Great food! Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the wait staff was amazing! We live in the East Bay and randomly chose this restaurant as we were on the Peninsula -- we will gladly make the trip again!
