- LLaiza1 review5.0Dined todayI had the pleasure of dining at Gordon Ramsay Steakhouse in Vancouver while pregnant, and I couldn’t be more impressed! I started with the One Night in Tulum mocktail, which had a delightful bitter/sour flavor from the passionfruit – highly recommend it for anyone looking for a refreshing and unique non-alcoholic option. For appetizers, we enjoyed the Warm Bread, Beef Tartare, and the Dungeness Crab Cake – all of which were exceptional in flavor. The Dungeness Crab Cake in particular was a standout, packed with delicious, delicate flavors. For our main course, we had the Classic Roasted Beef Wellington, which was absolutely incredible. It’s a generous portion that easily serves two people, and every bite was perfection. As we were celebrating my husband’s birthday, we were kindly treated to complimentary Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert, which was a sweet surprise. The staff also brought over an extra appetizer and two additional dessert bites as a lovely touch. Our server, Sandeep, provided top-notch service – friendly, attentive, and professional. The entire staff seemed very present and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the evening. The ambiance and decor of the restaurant were also fantastic, with stunning lighting and a stylish, modern design. The music was another highlight – it was lively, with the perfect volume, and created a relaxed, upbeat atmosphere that added to the overall experience. Overall, I definitely recommend Gordon Ramsay Steakhouse in Vancouver. It was a memorable dining experience, and we can’t wait to return!More infoGordon Ramsay Steak - VancouverPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Richmond•4.5
- JJayneVancouver / British Columbia •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoMy sister and I were celebrating her birthday as well as attending an event the day so we were making a trip out of it and staying the night at the Pan Pacific as well. Our server Lenny was very gracious, professional and provided us with what I felt was a luxury level of service. As a surprise, he gave us a little starter of tuna (I think) ceviche to mark our "sister's night out" which was delicious! For our starters, we ordered the Calamari in Tempura Batter which was so tasty and crispy. ALL calamari should be made with tempura batter! My sister ordered the Ebi Fritters which we both ended up loving for the crispiness, serving size and taste! I ate the tails too! I ordered the Mackarel and Salmon Oshi which I have had many times before and it NEVER disappoints! OMG, it was just as delicious as I was expecting! My sister ordered the Miku Roll which she also loved. I will definitely dine here again! Thank you to Miku and Lenny for a great night!More infoMiku Restaurant - VancouverPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Coal Harbour•4.8
- JJenniferVancouver / British Columbia •5 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoOne of my favorite restaurants. I have been coming here for years and it has always been delicious and an enjoyable time. Their summer patio set up is really pretty. It gives the vibe of a different ambiance that you could forget you're on West Hastings between towers. I hope they continue with it permanently.More infoNightingalePrice: Expensive• Canadian• Coal Harbour•4.7
- IIanCalgary / Southern Alberta •4 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe had afternoon tea in the dining room at Butchart Gardens on Family Day Monday and found the experience to be quite lovely. We were warmly greeted by the host who checked us in, took our coats and after a very short wait we were seated by our server at a wonderful table by a window looking out onto the garden. The room was bright, impeccably clean and had all the hushed serenity one would expect in the garden setting… I felt the music could have been a touch louder as it was barely audible and might have offered a bit of ambiance and privacy. Our server was friendly, very pleasant and she explained our tea options and guided us through the service. We opted for the « sparkling tea for two » which featured a half-bottle of BC sparkling wine, and we thought the wine added a bit of a celebratory note to our experience. The first course was a bright and light lemon trifle, and was followed by the three-tier tea sandwich and pastry tower and of course the loose-leaf tea ( the rose tea was amazing!) The tower looked elegant, and was very generously filled with fresh and delicious small bites. Some were served warm, others were chilled and all were distinctly flavoured and well balanced, perfect for pairing with the tea offerings. We found the whole experience to be absolutely wonderful and left feeling fully satiated and thoroughly satisfied.More infoThe Butchart Gardens - The Dining RoomPrice: Expensive• Northwest• Central Saanich•4.7
