Old time Favorite but the teppanyaki is a shorter time now

The food was delicious as usual. But it was freezing cold inside, and everybody had their coats on, and one person was even wearing a ski hat. The people that came as our guest kept talking about how cold it was. I know it cost a lot to heat up a place with high ceilings, but it was freezing. We love our waitress. She’s so sweet.

The amaebi and Hokkaido Scallops were my favorite. They were fresh and had a hint of sweetness. We also had the Chutoro and chicken-age, they were exquisite!

Good food — excellent calamari over a bed of lettuce appetizer & very good minestrone soup, delicious & very hardy veal marsala that comes w/ mash potato, polenta& veggies. The 3 medallions of veal were prepared just right & tender “submerged” in the “complex” thick sauce w/ mushrooms! The lamb shank is tasty & easily comes off the bone with knife & fork. However, the edges of the lamb seem to be “over done” & “scourged” so are hard to chew. The mash potatoes & veggies are good compliments to the dish. The pinot noir paired well with both dishes. The creme brûlée dessert was excellent along with a cup of the strong Cafe Americano!

The food was good, and the speed it came out was excellent.
