The best restaurant in Stockton. The food is always amazing. The vibe is nice but not upscale. The food though... I always go to Market Tavern when I'm in town, and it's always a highlight of my trip. Last night we went there for Thanksgiving. I didn't know what to expect. Different menu than usual. We both had the Turkey w gravy, walnut stuffing, cranberry sauce, etc. The first course was a choice of 2 salads or butternut squash should, which the wife ordered. I didn't know I liked butternut squash. We both thought it was perfection. Fresh pie & ice cream for dessert. Everything was excellent. We both feel so lucky we went!!!

Great service Shannon was a wonderful attentive waitress/ bartender drinks were perfect, steaks amazing!! Definitely our go to place for dinner & cocktails!!

We visited for the first time and had an incredible experience. From the host to the server and the chef, every member of the staff was attentive, welcoming, and highly professional. The food was outstanding, particularly the seafood pasta and calamari fritti, which were both delicious and generously portioned. Even though we were full, we couldn’t resist dessert—and the crème brûlée and strawberry cheesecake were absolutely the best we’ve ever had. We’ll definitely be returning with the rest of the family!

The service was perfect. My husband and I split four courses which were either shared from the center or plated separately in the kitchen. This made our meal a little different for the chef and server and it was all done perfectly. We had a leisurely dinner, nice conversation and great food. A stand out was the salmon special over pearl couscous. The fish had crispy skin and tender meat. I also thought the pricing was reasonable for the ambiance and quality. We will definitely be back.
