Very great food, good ambiance, not too loud and our server was phenomenal! He was very responsive, attentive to what and when we needed something. Forgot to catch his name bald guy big full beard he was awesome! Lamb shank was delicious my wife rarely finishes her full plate she devoured it, I had the ravioli and pane really really good!

My husband and I are thoroughly pleased with everything we ordered. My favourite appy was the Franco Fries. Did not know what to expect but this was such a great starter with just the right combination of savoury and sweet! The shoestring fries were crispy and cooked perfectly. We also had the calamari, very tender with just a touch of light batter on the outside. This was also quite good by the way but the Franco Fries upstaged the calamari! I had the short ribs as my main entree and wow this was so tender! Hubby ordered a pasta bolognese dish, I did not try it so I can't say either way, but my husband thought it was very good. Panna cotta dessert was sooooo good. We were so full we split it and Im so glad we did. That panna cotta was big enough for sharing. I loved the subtle sweetness and the cookie crumble on top with the fruit compote. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would return again. Our waiter (I'm sorry I can't recall his name) was attentive, pleasant, and quick. Overall we had a fantastic experience.

Always love Locale! I recently moved from King City to downtown Toronto and am always looking for a reason to come back to Locale. With so many great dining options downtown Toronto, Locale in King City truly stands out as a gem and our favourite restaurant.

For a variety of reasons I have not visited this restaurant for several years. I was looking for a place in Aurora to take a friend to lunch. It was well worth the trip - both the food and the service were outstanding!

I was pleasantly surprised with State and Main. Nice atmosphere, good food. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Good location with loads of parking space. Recommendation: reduce number of high tables to give customers more space and room to feel comfortable.
