Restaurants near Residence Inn by Marriott Salt Lake City Downtown

My wife and I enjoyed dinner at Italian Grafitti last year. Even though Lupessa is in the same place, with the same ambiance and a similar menu (with the same high prices), the experience was underwhelming. The food was good, but not what we had under the previous management. For us, it was not worth the price tag.

Birthday celebration dinner, on a very busy night in the midst of end of year holidays. Food was excellent. Wait staff had a great sense of humor. Music was excellent (both that which was prerecorded that which was and performed live by a string quartet). Staff seemed stretched a little thin as the night went on, but were very responsive when we asked for attention. At one point, our waiter walked over to our table holding a tray full of cocktails for another table. I jokingly asked, “where’s mine?” and when they brought the check, it was accompanied by a complimentary cocktail of the same variety. You can’t ask for much more at such a popular restaurant. Really wonderful experience.

Best evening we’ve had in a long time. Food was fabulous and service was outstanding. Ambience was beautiful and even though busy we felt we received the same attention as if it was slow. Thank you for the most enjoyable Christmas Eve dinner.

I read good reviews for this place and needed a place for the 6 of us to eat before the hockey game. We got a reservation literally the day before and probably didn’t need one. The food was amazing for sure! So different and so good.! Our waiter suggested 4-5 items for our group to share and swore it would be more than enough. We ended up ordering more and quit at 7 . We left kind of hungry still. The portions for each $18+ dish ordered only came with enough for 3 people to try, so we were cutting deviled eggs and gyros in half so all could try for instance. We loved the food but were disappointed in the servings. Fun idea though for sure.

Service was promote and the meal was quite tasty. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
