It all started in 1992, when Annette and Gerner Andresen opened the Lighthouse Café in Sausalito in its present form. The Andresens, both born in Denmark, had recently immigrated to the U.S., and along with them they brought the Scandinavian flair for simplicity, good quality and tasty food.     We love sushi Ran! It’s our favorite Japanese restaurant in Marin. The quality is fresh. There are a lot of options for our little kids who are foodies - they even eat Ikura! The miso cod is one of our favorite items on the menu. The scallop roll is our favorite roll. Yoshi san (the owner) offers fun and unique premium sales from Japan! He knows where each bottle is from and changes the same menu seasonally. We love coming here to unwind after a long day of work or for a celebration!

    The ambiance is extraordinary. You are seated in a roof top glass garden overlooking the world, with a breathtaking view of the mount Tamalpais . The service was impeccable. The server, Toby, was exceptionally welcoming and courteous. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, with the food being of exceptional quality and the service being outstanding. We will certainly be back.
