- JJeffreyMaine •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe Valentine's Day dinner was epic... Got seated and the hostess brought us a bottle of water.... No glasses so we sat there and laughed about it and continued... Ordered drinks and waited... First course comes out still no glasses or drinks ... Finally a different waiter came over to bring the second course and we let him know about our drinks he very quickly returned with them .. coming into the 3rd course I got soup with was absolutely incredible accept for the fact I didn't get a spoon to eat it with so by the time I got one it was cold but very quickly was given a brand new hot dish... Then, we received the 6th course which was by total mistake and very delicious too by the way we had the most fun! Water with no glasses soup with no spoon and an extra course! Was epic the service was all in all very good, food was amazing.!!! Atmosphere was perfect !! Would give it 9.5 out of 10. I think there was some timing issues and new unfamiliar staff for the first time doing a 5 course meal setting it was very good and would definitely return again to see how they improved great job everyone who took part in the service!More infoKanuPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Bangor•4.4

- CCricketMaine •15 reviews5.0Dined on 27 Dec 2024The perfect wintery meal on a cold night! From the festive eggnog and the sharply delicious vinaigrette on the house salad, to the rich short ribs and ice cream- it was just perfect. So grateful to have a dependably good restaurant open to celebrate with friends in the holiday season!More infoMcKay's Public HousePrice: Expensive• American• Bar Harbor•4.4
- JJonMaine •1 review5.0Dined on 10 Nov 2024The Reading Room is classic white linen high class dining at its best!! Menu, food, service & ambience all first rate! Our server was very professional (can’t recall her name) & very menu knowledgeable - only issue was that the noise level made it difficult to have a good conversation! We’ve been there many times over the years & it is always the highlight of our visits to Bar Harbor!!More infoReading Room Restaurant at The Bar Harbor InnPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Bar Harbor•4.7
- DDeniseMaine •1 review5.0Dined on 24 Oct 2024It took a month to get in and it was worth it. I had frequented the pond house when I was young (35 yrs ago) and I had been wanting to get back. It was as good as I remember. Staff got us in earlier than our reservation time, waitstaff were friendly and welcoming and the popovers and jam are the best I’ve had! Definitely worth the visit/experience.More infoJordan Pond HousePrice: Expensive• American• Bar Harbor•3.3
