I have dined at Cafe 1 since it opened, too many years to remember. I have always told people (all people) that the best restaurant in Inverness is Cafe 1. I will reach my 70th year in a few weeks time and still hold the same opinion. It is not just a place to enjoy good food. It is the whole experience that is first class. Second to none. My wife, Frankie, and I were there for dinner a week ago. Frankie doesn’t do dairy so dessert is often a problem when eating out. Unfortunately the menu had been changed and the solution, a beautiful prosseco jelly with fruit, wasn’t available. 😢. Last night we we’re booked in for dinner with some friends. What was on the specials menu? Prosecco Jelly of course!! Just ask yourself how many establishments would go to that trouble just to make a couple of pensioners happy. We recently visited this restaurant as a family of six, including our baby, and we couldn’t have been more pleased! From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The homemade food was absolutely delicious—each dish was flavorful. You can really taste the care that goes into the cooking. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. We highly recommend this restaurant for families and anyone looking for a warm, welcoming atmosphere with great food. We can’t wait to return!
