Dining at The Old Inn on the Green is an extraordinary experience: fine wine, great food, attentive, knowledgeable service and the dining rooms illuminated only by candle light.     From the moment you walk in there's a sense of elegance. Small, classy and inviting ambiance. Food selections explained in detail by very knowledgeable wait staff. Food presentation was superb, from the moment each guest was simultaneously presented with their selection to the appetizing visual of each dish. And the aroma and taste only further complemented the visual, making the whole experience wonderful. I would go back in an instance and highly recommend it My only concern is that their wine by the glass selections although interesting, they could possibly pair better with their terrific menu. Possibly even making some suggestions for pairing would be a good addition.

    Everyone at our table thought their food was absolutely delicious. it just took too long to get served. We were there from 6:45 until 10:00, while we enjoyed each other's company, three hours plus is long for three courses. The wait people (Alicia and Ethan) were very obliging. A very nice touch at the beginning of our evening was a little tour of Troutbeck when the greeter learned that two in our party had not been to Troutbeck before. Very friendly. thank you!
