Restaurants near Shipley Windmill

First time back to Tottington in too long! Booked a reasonably last-minute Sunday Lunch and we were not disappointed. Everything, from reception on arrival, to service, food delivery and the actual food itself, was just superb. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect and the care and attention paid by the team was excellent in every respect; cannot fault it. We opted for the Sunday Roast; Tottington has a spin on the usual "pub roast" - slightly posher version but better in every way; the flavours and presentation was absolutely spot on, and thoroughly appreciated. We really enjoyed our meal the food was excellent. The only criticism we have is that I have a shellfish allergy and some of the dishes that we chose we were advised would not be suitable as they were cooked in the same pan as food that cooked shellfish. We were very surprised about that with such an upmarket restaurant. One of the courses we did chose had something that was cooked in a pan that had cooked shellfish and they just left that part of the dish off which was good. We would definitely visit the restaurant again.

Visited the Ivy for my birthday and it didn’t disappoint. The shepherds pie and ginger margarita cocktail was delicious, the ambience was warm and inviting with a fabulous singer adding to the joie de vivre . Service was great and I was treated to a special birthday chocolatey profiterole. Will definitely be returning.

Fabulous roast dinner, the best cauliflower cheese we’ve ever had, the wine selection was great, we have eaten there before so this was our 3rd visit, we live in Shoreham by sea so locally and in Sussex we have a huge selection but The Fountain is definitely in our top 5

The lunch experience could not have been much better. The service was attentive even though the staff were very busy. Food was good, although the ‘crackling’ with the Sunday roast pork was a bit alien.
