- MMargaretVIPWashington, D.C. Area •19 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOnce again, a lovely dining experience. Our server perfectly paced the meal and each course was delicious. Among the highlights: tender sweetbreads appetizer, rack of lamb and lobster/crab entrees. We were so full and the graciously packed up our desserts in “to go” boxes. A delightful meal.More infoL'Auberge Chez FrancoisPrice: Very Expensive• French• Great Falls•4.9

- HHowieVIPBaltimore / Maryland •348 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoThis was our second visit to Village Square Restaurant and we enjoyed it. It’s good but not great. The ambiance is the best thing going. Comfortable, dim lighting, active fireplace, brick walls…feels a bit like a Colorado ski lodge. We’ve only dined here for lunch. The food is solid. (We’ve reviewed the dinner menu, which seems more special.) Martinis were done nicely, although the pours aren’t generous. We started with a dozen raw oysters, nice presentation. For entrees, my wife enjoyed the pot roast French dip. Good dish. I had the lobster roll. Also good. Devlin, our server, was very nice, personable, but service was slow at times. Overall, a positive but unremarkable dining experience. Even though we haven’t been here for dinner, I’d recommend Village Square “blindly” before doing the same for lunch.More infoVillage Square RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Winchester•4.5
