The Story of Josephine’sThe story of Josephine’s begins during our executive chef Daniel LeBoon’s childhood. At eight years old, working for his father’s catering company, Daniel discovered a passion for food. This love — and undeniable talent — saw him intern at Philadelphia’s prestigious Le Bec-Fin. He went on to work in Paris at the venerable Hotel Vernet working under the renowned chef’s Alain Solvere and Alain Ducasse. We had a wonderful experience! We went for our anniversary. They were ready immediately for our reservation and attended to us with wonderful service the whole time. Our server Cam was friendly and also noticed every time we needed anything at all without us even asking. Food was excellent! Pork chop & chicken were divine, and the whipped feta appetizer was a fun and unique taste we enjoyed.

We come to Lancaster every year in November for my husband’s birthday. Altana is always our go to for dinner. The food is incredible no matter what you get. We have never had a bad meal here. The atmosphere is fun warm and inviting. Wonderful restaurant!
