Osteria Olio is a very chic restaurant but tends to have lots of noise if you are seated by the kitchen. We were at first but asked to be moved and were accommodated . We moved to a cozy table for four with a couch by the window. That alone plus having a great waitress ( Reilley) made all the difference in the world. The food / wine and dessert were delicious. Reilley was attentive, efficient and pleasant. The meatballs were outrageously great. Fusilli con Salsiccia was delicious…a little spicy .Definitely don’t miss this great restaurant in the Rivet House in Athens,Ga.

My go-to restaurant. Food and service are always excellent. Great ambience somewhere between fancy and fun. Chop House never disappoints.

My husband, my father, and I had the opportunity to celebrate my husband‘s 51st birthday at your restaurant. In good Cotton Calf fashion, the food was absolutely amazing and the service was as well. We love that we have such an amazing restaurant that’s near home. We can always count on Cotton Calf to be consistent, whether it for drinks at the bar, an appetizer, or a full meal. Kudos.

We are VERY sad tho hear that the new landlords have informed Cafe on Lumpkin that they can no longer remain in their current space. This is very disheartening. I really hope they are able to continue in a different location, and I hope the new owner of the building understands how disappointed the Athens community feels about the closure of Cafe on Lumpkin.
