Restaurants near State Game Lands Number

Out to dinner for my Birthday. Great service from Candace! The kitchen was nice enough to offer a substitution on an entree… I’m eating low carb and GF, so they offered Brussels sprouts instead of the gnocchi in the short rib dish. I love Brussels sprouts, but over half of the ones in my dish were undercooked and too hard to eat. The short ribs were good though. Candace offered to ask the kitchen for a different side, but I had already finished the rest of the dish. My husband loved the pork chops on polenta, and our daughter loved her burger. The only other detail that was missed was the special cocktail I ordered was advertised as Prosecco with cranberry and mint (which I LOVE), but it came with sage instead and with no explanation for the change. Sage didn’t really work with the drink at all but at least it was balanced on the rim and not actually in the Prosecco. Great ambiance, as always, and mostly perfect food… just missing some of the small stuff that would make the experience top notch.

Thanksgiving Dinner at The Washington House was the way to go for this party of two! Caitlyn was our server and she was pleasant, attentive, and efficient. the price fixed menu had sufficient choices to suit our tastes. We enjoyed trying a few dishes we had never tried before and were not disappointed. The restaurant was busy and yet there was not an excessive noise level in the front dining room where we were seated. We'll be returning on Christmas Eve for their price fixed luncheon menu which is also a favorite of ours!

The tuna special with capers and ginger was outstanding. The chicken parmigiana was very flavorful and tender. The Caesar salad was enough to share as was the chocolate mousse for our dessert. Arielle’s is one of our favor restaurants. They are consistently excellent.

My foodie restaurant industry girlfriend and NYC raised I went to this restaurant for the first time. It was recommended on a Reddit chat for special occasions. We go out every week in the Lehigh Valley area and minus a few of our favorites, have been mostly disappointed by our meals. Well this was definitely not the case last night. From the moment our server Nicholas came to our table we knew we were in for a treat. He was very personable and knowledgeable helping us guide through the menu. Everything we had made us go WOW! including the onion soup, twin filets, scallops, and peach pie! Truly top notch taste and presentation coupled with our great server made for a truly memorable evening. We are definitely going to make the Spinnerstown Hotel a regular part of our weekly dinners!

Nice place. The hostess remembered us from a few months ago. Our server, Lydia, was prompt, efficient, warm and funny.
