Restaurants near Stetson Plaza Shopping Center

Overall good value for fine Dining establishment. Two standout aspects, that you don't see much these days, was a live music performer in the bar/lounge, and an attendant in the Men's Restroom. Only minor nitpick I have was that the bartender staff did not introduce themselves by name when I sat down.

We've been to Citizen Public House three times now. Each experience has been great. Last night, Evan was our waiter and he didn't miss a beat. Very personable and attentive without being intrusive. The chopped salad is a must. I enjoyed the sea scallops, which were perfectly cooked in a lovely presentation. My husband had the meatloaf, so good he's ordered it every time. It is pricey, but we think worth it for the quality of the food and dining experience.

In town for a couple weeks and kept seeing how busy this place was, reviews looked up our alley, so we made a reservation for 8. We arrived early, 4 of us had drinks at the bar, live music was on point, and bar service was quick and well made cocktails. We were sat outside, with the heaters on low it was perfect, but a little loud (the live music was being fed via speakers), we asked and they adjusted them. The waitress was on her game, did fantastic. We had the pretzel / fondue app, and we devoured 2 sets of them. All of us were happy about our food, extremely tasty and well proportioned, except one that just wasn’t good, like maybe hit the heat lamps a bit. A couple of us tried his steak/frittes annd agreed it was not it…. So he started eating off everyone else since it was all good. The waitress offered to remake it fresh when she noticed and we said nah, he had food from everyone and was good. So she offered to take it off the meal (there was maybe 1 - 1 1/2 slices of steak gone and nearly no fries gone). We said that would be appreciated and thanks, and no worries everyone was good. The chef came out then and said he’d fire a new one and we could take it home even if he was fed now, we told him it was really not required/ needed. He then offered dessert, so we took him up on the desert and of course we all ate that up something fierce!!! When the bill came he had removed the steak meal, gave us free desserts and comp’d the apps. That was WAY more then I expected and service showing me how much some people want things to go right. Definitely made me say I’ll be back, and made for a 5 star review.

First time dining here - it was wonderful! The service, cocktails, apps and mains were on point! Tommy biscuits are to die for! So good! The restaurant has a cool vibe to it - the cherry on top is that the restaurant is Anthony Bourdain inspired. We’ll def be back!

We had super fun and delicious birthday dinner! Wife has the sea bass and I had the mussels! Both were delicious. Thank you Logan for being a great server. Especially loved his humor when I said, “ I’ve had mussel from all over the world and he quickly replied….we just get ours right out of the canal”. Anyway, great food, service and fun. We will be back soon.
