Restaurants near Tallman Mountain State Park

It was nice. And that’s really all I can say. Was not entirely thrilled with flavor and for what they charge, you’d expect some serious innovation and creativity. We had a few things, a few of our waiters favorites, mostly seafood (apparently what they are known for) and so I was expecting more from our selections. Leaving little curiosity for the rest of the menu. It was good quality food but nothing was amazing, pretty standard. Desert and coffee was the best part. The ambiance, view and decor are beautiful but I don’t see any reason to return.

The food and service are top notch! All the staff are wonderful and the food is excellent. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Our first visit was exceptional! The decor and ambiance was outstanding, as was the service, drinks, and food. Although it was a busy Saturday night, the noise level was very low, enabling us to have conversations in a normal tone. The Sparkill Steakhouse checks all of the boxes that you look for in a fine dining establishment. We highly recommend this restaurant, and will definitely visit many times again.

This place is just awesome! As soon as you walk in you are treated like you've been there 1000 times. People are warm, friendly and actually happy to see you. The music is awesome, the ambiance is just great. You feel comfortable. The food is outstanding!! Love to see what the secret sandwich is. The chef pairs flavors together like no other chef I've seen. Everything is just delicious. The service is impeccable. The waiters and waitresses are at your beck and call, if you need anything they are right there but not hovering over you. They space the meal out nicely so you're never wondering when your food is coming. The drinks are great too. I live across the river and have to take a bridge to get there but it is worth all my time and travel. Make a reservation today! You won't be sorry.

My second time here and once again the food was superb and the service excellent. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance made even nicer with the live music playing through dinner. Overall, a wonderful experience. Highly recommend.
