- JJonathanOrlando / Central Florida East •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoAda’s on the River is a must-visit! The entire experience was incredible, from the stunning ambiance to the exceptional food. The open kitchen concept with the wood fire oven added an exciting, lively touch—it was amazing to watch the chefs in action. The food was simply outstanding. The perfectly cooked scallops were a highlight—tender, flavorful, and beautifully paired with the corn soubise, which was hands-down the star sauce of the night. While we enjoyed the trio of sauces served with the hanger steak, the corn soubise stood out with its sweet, velvety flavor. Every dish we had was elevated and memorable, from the vibrant salads to the decadent desserts that ended the night on a high note. The staff, especially our server Abigayle, was attentive and welcoming, ensuring our meal was flawless. Combined with the chic and cozy atmosphere and gorgeous river views, Ada’s on the River is a dining experience we’ll be raving about for a long time. - SSusanWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoReuniting with a former colleague, I felt satisfied that the menu (gluten-free, etc.) would please her—and it did. The thoughtful wait staff members were attentive but not hovering. We both enjoyed the soups and salads and even lingered over cups of cappuccino. The week prior, I enjoyed a similar experience with another out of town friend. Well done!More infoOld Ebbitt GrillPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown•4.8
- HHowardWest Palm Beach •16 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe have been to a number of Hell’s Kitchens, mostly with excellent results but sometimes not so much. Our experience in the Washington DC restaurant was outstanding. All aspects of the experience were at the very high level we would expect. The service was excellent and we had warm and accommodating attention the whole night. One of the wait staff even went the extra mile and secured for my daughter the iconic Hell’s Kitchen pin! Kitchen was operating on all thrusters! We had filet, short ribs, and salmon, all of which were cooked to perfection. The sides of potatoes au gratin, macaroni and cheese, and braised brussel sprouts were also exceptionally tasty. Finally, the Caesar salad they brought out was enough for the whole table. The only ding I would say was that it was a bit noisier than we prefer and we did have the unfortunate luck to be seated next to a booth that did have two small children who were a bit rambunctious and noisy. But having had four children ourselves who are all now grown, we well understand and accept the travails of taking young children out to dinner. Overall, our experience was excellent and we will return again when next in DC.More infoGordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen - Washington DCPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary European• Southwest Waterfront•4.5
- DDeniseWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined on 15 Nov 2024I was there for a small business meeting, and it was a perfect casual setting. The food was exquisite, and the menu is very unique. Everyone said, they will be returning again for the food. I had a perfect cooked salmon, and I could not believe the flavor and all salmon eaters know that it can be a problem to get a perfect cooked, moist and seasoned salmon. My guest was impressed with the gumbo, a little spicy but she hate it all. If you have never had a kale salad, please try it there, delicious. A great experience from a hard to please foody. - BRBridgetteRWashington, D.C. Area •14 reviews4.0Dined on 28 Jul 2023The server was really nice and mannerable although it took a while to receive our meal. The food was so so; my Salmon and Broccoli were overcooked, which was a bummer! So, I probably won't be back for a while.More infoRed Lobster - SuitlandPrice: Moderate• Seafood• National Harbor•4.1
