Chapter One is an award-winning Modern European restaurant with 3 AA Rosettes in Orpington, Kent. Following a major refurbishment in early 2019, Chapter One has relaunched with a more modern approach, tempting guests with greater variety and quality.Under the direction of acclaimed chef Andrew McLeish, modern European cooking is available in two formats. Another fantastic meal. A big thank you to Tony and the team for making it such a lovely and enjoyable dining experience. The valentines menu was superb with excellent choices. The seared scallops were exquisite and the wagyu steak was succulently divine. This has to be my most favourite restaurant for food, service and ambience.

Table of five on Christmas Eve but the service was efficient and perfectly timed and the food was excellent, not our first visit and each time the standard on all levels is excellent. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
