Outstanding food, service, electric atmosphere can’t rave about it enough would recommend the ivy to anybody so so good

From start to finish the staff couldn't do enough for us. They asked us if we minded waiting at a table untill they had sorted our table out even though we were early. They were very polite and got our drinks straight away. The food was delicious and very quick. Those lads and lasses work very hard .The service, the food and the restaurant itself, can't fault it and would highly recommend Bill's in York to anyone.

Fantastic experience for a 21st birthday lunch with 5 diners .. ate off the set menu … enough choice and all food great quality. Starters fantastic as well as the chicken / steak main course … Steak cooked to a perfect medium … Fantastic service and complimentary Prosecco for the birthday boy was amazing … Woukd eat here again .. Service fantastic … we will be back …

Our meal at The Refectory in York was exceptional. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were professional and attentive throughout. We started with a warm sourdough loaf with bee honey, seafood cocktail and a haddock souffle' - all beautifully presented and delicious. For mains, the pan fried sea bass was perfectly cooked, and the venison was tender and full of flavor. An unforgettable dining experience - we highly recommend The Refectory and look forward to returning!

This was a spectacular meal. The service was first class with a really friendly professional feel. Our server Oli was fantastic, courteous at all times and had a bit of banter with us. We've heard a lot of people talk about Cut & Craft and say how nice it is so thought we'd try it ourselves on our annual festive trip to York, this was definitely one of the highlights, we WILL be returning.
