Good food and service as always. Its a good upmarket chain

Our first visit to The Barrel Inn. It won’t be our last. We booked for 1.30pm so it wasn’t too busy. We were greeted by a very nice young man who showed us to our table and brought us our menus. We were given sufficient time to decide on our drinks then on our food order. We both had the pies. I had pheasant and leek any my husband the steak pie. They were absolutely delicious. Probably one of the best pies I’ve ever had. We both had a pudding. Jam roll poly for me and apple and rhubarb crumble for hubby. Delicious. My only slight grumble was not enough custard. We should have asked for extra but politeness won out. The pub is really nice, the staff were friendly and very pleasant. The pub is situated in such a lovely place with the most spectacular views. We would thoroughly recommend. We will certainly be back for another visit with our family.

Our first visit to this lovely bistro/coffee shop. Found it very welcoming and thoughtly enjoyed our visit. The menu is interesting different from the norm and the food was excellent. We will definitely return in future.
