Restaurants near Tobytown Park

Its been awhile since we have eaten at Cava, but it was a great experience. The server and the rest of the staff was very friendly and greeted us with a smile and they all thanked us and wished us a good night on the way out the door. That says a lot about the management.

This has been my special occasion/destination restaurant for 40 years. This time, I was dining solo, but I felt welcome and totally comfortable. I ordered one of the evening's specials, rockfish with chanterelles and seasonal vegetables. The fish was cooked perfectly. I indulged in the special dessert, Buche de Noel.

Great to be back at LCF! As we entered the parking lot, we were greeted by fun, colorful holiday lights. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. Our server Freddie was excellent - knowledgable, attentive and really funny! Food was consistently very good among our four diners. Highlights: mushroom crepe (recommended by Freddie) and veal entree. Only issues: Beef Wellington was a little underseasoned and rack of lamb needed more sauce on the side. But that's quibbling! LCF remains the same: friendly, comfortable, and unpretentious - we look forward to returning very soon!

Very busy night for FF! We went there tonight on Christmas, which also happens to be my birthday. There was a mix up with the prime rib and they ended up being out of it but didn’t find out until my family had their food. I work in a restaurant so I know these things happen sometimes. They were extremely accommodating. The manager, Chris, and our server (her name just slipped from my mind!) went above and beyond! They made sure that we left feeling happy and that’s all we could really ask for! The food was delicious as always! P.s- Please add a nonalcoholic beer option to your menu! 😁

My husband and I decided to grab an early lunch while we were picking up a Christmas dinner order in the area. I had no idea that there was a sister restaurant to Clyde’s. I have been to the location in DC, and I really enjoyed it there. So, I figured I would have the same experience, and I was right. The food is delicious, it was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and our server was knowledgeable and friendly. We didn’t even need to ask for refills; a replacement drink was on the table before we could even think to ask. Now, that is some stellar service! We will return with friends, and I have already recommended to a friend who is also a fan of Clydes in DC. Happy holidays!
