Chris and his team are fantastic. This year Matt was our server and he was knowledgeable, warm and personable. They are a staple in Providence and I highly recommend to visit anytime for a truly special meal & experience.More infoThe Capital Grille - ProvidencePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Providence•4.8

Bartender was very upbeat and pleasant. Overall meal was very good but one guest thought the Carbonara was fine but not the best. Barrata was excellent. Pizzetta was very good but too large for an appetizer. I would note that on the menu. One guest enjoyed the feast of the seven fishes. Veal tenderloin was a probably medium as requested. I should have ordered medium rare. Pork chop was very good . Our waitress Gabrielle was excellent , personable and just the right approach for a Christmas Eve celebration.More infoMassimoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Providence•4.7
- DDonnaVIPGreater Boston •9 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoChristmas Eve tradition continues with the Feast of the Seven Fishes at Bar’Lino in Johnston. It was the perfect venue for Richard and I to bring my mother to so that she could take part in this sacred Italian tradition; and enjoy it she did!! The easy in and out of the location proved super easy for her and the decor was upscale sophistication. The food was plentiful and tastefully prepared. Their version of the seven fishes began with a dish that consisted of-baccala salad, snail salad, calamari and the most tasty smelts ever. The next dish was the perfectly al dente spaghetti and clams. The last course was broiled cod, baked stuffed shrimp and broccoli rabe. We were so full that we did not have room for desert at that moment. However, for those who have been to Pane E Vino, you know how delectable their bread pudding is; so we did get three orders to take home🤗. It was a special evening being able to share this tradition with my mother as I have for the past 67 years❤️.More infoBar Lino RistorantePrice: Expensive• Italian• Johnston•4.6
