- JJeffreyvipNew York City •42 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe frequent Opus and consider it to be the best restaurant on Long Island. The steak rivals the best restaurants in NYC. We had fish as our entrees this evening— red snapper and Chilean Sea Bass— both excellent. Appetizers Lamb Meatballs and burrata salad— mozzarella prepared table side— both excellent. A stand out of the evening was the service. Our waitress—Cam- seemed to intuitively know when she was needed and was never intrusive. She presented the specials articulately and completely. She was upbeat and helped our dinner to be relaxed and enjoyable. It felt like a private dining experience which was without distraction. We will certainly request to be seated in her station in the future. As we exited, the valet knew that mine was the Bentley, allowing the evening to end with the relaxing demeanor we experienced throughout.More infoOpus Prime Steak, Seafood & SushiPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Jericho•4.6

- BBrianNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoMy wife and I had an excellent meal last night at The Halston. Started with some wine from a fairly extensive but reasonably priced beverage list and proceeded to order a Tuna Sashimi appetizer followed by 2 entrees that we shared which were the prime sirloin steak and the Nova Scotia salmon. The steak came to the table sliced into about 15 slices and cooked perfect to medium rare. The salmon was broiled and came with some roasted corn. We ordered some creamed spinach as well and shared a brownie for dessert. Our server Chris was attentive but not bothersome and all in all, a great meal. We will return for another meal in the near future.More infoThe HalstonPrice: Expensive• American• Melville•4.4
