If possible, it would be helpful to have some type of light in the entryway as it's very dark. It was hard to tell if there was one step or two in the darkness. There are two small steps up to the restaurant door.More infoThe ConsulatePrice: Expensive• French American• Upper West Side•4.6
- DDanaDallas - Fort Worth •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe plan our trip to NYC around eating at Carmine’s. This time we ate at the upper West Side location. We usually eat at the Times Square location. But this year it was booked solid for Christmas a month in advance. We were wowed again with an awesome meal at Carmines at 91st Street. We had the garlic bread with cheese. We always ask to add the cheese. So wonderful. We also split the lasagna. It is the best we have ever tasted. We brought over half of it home. I would recommend either Carmine’s to anyone wanting authentic Italian food at its best.More infoCarmine's - 91st Street - NYCPrice: Expensive• Italian• Upper West Side•4.7

We requested a quiet table because one of the people in our party has hearing loss and the restaurant was very attentive to that when seating us. We were not rushed at all and the server was able to recommend several items which were delicious Had the branzino, lamb kabob, shnitzel, as large plates. Taboon "bread" was superb. Humous and Israeli salad were excellent. We decided to have dessert and the flourless chocolate cake and other dessert were scrumptious Will definitely go back! Thanks, Bustan for a wonderful evening.More infoBustanPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Upper West Side•4.8
- SSandraNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAmazing holiday classic! The decor is just amazing- beautifully decorated for the holidays. The food was equally amazing. We had the tomahawk steak special with three included sides. The steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. The lobster Mac and cheese and vegetables were delicious and the presentation was worthy of photos which didn’t do it justice. The service was friendly but efficient. We will be back.More infoTavern on the GreenPrice: Expensive• American• Midtown West•4.7
- EElizabethNew York City •41 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWHat a great additional to the Upper West Side, which used to be a place of good but ordinary food of many often ethnic types. Elea is a game changer. I ate there several times outside during COVID and had no idea the inside is so elegant and un-Upper West Side (if you've lived here for a long time you know what I mean--before the bazillionaires moved in). Anyway, a first-rate restaurant in every way, and the noise level is bearable, as opposed to unbearable, as it is in so many nice restaurants. Thanks.More infoEleaPrice: Very Expensive• Greek• Upper West Side•4.9
