Great Wine selection and amazing food with courteous staff

Loved the inside of this location. Service was amazing. Lots of good recommendations from our server. Food and wine was delicious.

We came with our family just before Christmas during the Christmas Market time. The restaurant was busy but not overcrowded. we were welcomed quickly and shown to our table. We were a large group -7- but our table had plenty of space and was not cramped. Our food arrived quickly and all of us enjoyed our food. My son-in-law loved the Beef Tartare and the Oysters. He had some concerns about recent evidence of tainted oysters in other locations but our waitress was able to explain which types of oysters had been gained and to reassure that none of those oysters were served at Cluny. The Black Cod en-Papilotte was also described as delicious -spicy but not too much, interesting. Two of young men had Flat Iron steaks and pronounced them perfectl! Cluny felt like a special place to dine and they did not disappoint . A very enjoyable meal in a lovely setting.

A gem in Toronto’s east end, Il Ponte delivers on all fronts - from impeccable service to fine traditional Italian cuisine. A great place with great food. I’ll be back.
