We are a warm, friendly pub situated in West Parley, Ferndown, serving traditional pub food every day till 10 pm. We have a wonderful, friendly team who are always happy to help. Families always welcome up to 9 pm, and we have a children's menu which includes a free dessert! We have a great selection of local cask ales, from The Dorset Brewing Company, and Ringwood Brewery, and run a collector card alongside the real ales where after 7 pints your 8th is free! Martin was most welcoming and for that alone we will be back. It was a busy service. Starters were excellent, my friend enjoyed her fishcake with a perfectly poached egg. My shepherd’s pie was good. The creamed spinach was very good. A well chilled bottle of Chenin Blanc complemented the meal. Thank you. Overall a wonderful dining experience which we highly recommend!!

This is my favourite place to catch up with friends & family. It's a perfect place to stop off. The food is amazing. The ambience & warm welcome is outstanding. The staff are lovely & most accommodating. If I were to recommend somewhere to eat & drink near Wimborne, it would be here. Love it.

Had to send my starter back as it wasn’t what was on the menu- scallops were with dry peas instead of a pea purée. Mains- salmon and chicken were really tasty for both of us were lovely. Service was excellent not intrusive, professional and attentive. Been before, will go again. Much better than the IVY!!!!
