First visit to the new Lussmans in Woburn - the latest addition to this collection of fine restaurants in interesting buildings with scrumptious food. This is a lovely Georgian building, beautifully restored and decorated, and a perfect space for an outing of the taste buds. Lussmans now do carafes of their most popular wines and it is the best way to get a large glass or two of your favourite. We decided to have a main and a pudding - the starters are certainly tempting but their size and quality can fill you up a little bit. Even though their current offer of three courses for £36 (which may change when the new menu begins in a week or two) is great value, we weren't in a gluttonous mood so soon after Christmas. My partner's pan-fried Celeriac steak brought forth much smacking of lips and joyful exclamations, while my chicken schnitzel was perfectly cooked and tasty. The veggie sides were just right with delicious sticky red cabbage the standout. And then came my dark chocolate mousse, which was dark and delicious, while my partner's berry cheesecake hit the spot. A great evening out with attentive and friendly staff and certainly there were no leftovers on our clean plates!More infoLussmanns WoburnPrice: Expensive• British• Woburn•4.6
- RRaiaVIPBuckinghamshire •32 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoSo often a restaurant menu has very little I actually want to eat. Today at Quod I could have chosen many of the things on the menu! I chose one of the specials, a Caesar salad with king prawn and anchovies. Delicious, very grown up. Then yummy cheeses with crackers, chutney, celery and apple. And a bax colada. Great meal. Wonderful South African waitress. Great ambience. Expensive, but the cost of living crisis is reflected in the increase in restaurant prices.More infoQuod Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• European• Oxford•4.5

- JJennieLondon •1 review5.0Dined on 12 Dec 2024This restaurant was strongly recommended to us by a friend who had very much enjoyed an evening there. The service was attentive and friendly. The menu was not too big and had a good cross section of dishes. The food was excellent, we will definitely return. The only thing to mention is the toilet is in the Unity building and requires staff to keep an eye out to let you back into the restaurant!More infoDipna Anand Kitchen & BarPrice: Moderate• Indian• Milton Keynes•3.9
