We are a family owned business located in the centre of York by the River Ouse. Our bar and bistro has gained a reputation for a wide range of beers and spirits coupled with an excellent selection of wines and champagnes. Since going vegan and my taste changing due to Covid, I've literally given up going out for meals because it just doesn't seem worth spending money on food that I probably won't taste or enjoy. However I'm so glad my husband and I went here, it felt special enough for a lovely date night. There was a romantic and quiet ambience, the staff were lovely and attentive. The prices are good and the food is gorgeous! For the first time in a long time, I went out for a meal and I enjoyed everything about it. Thank you Orchid. Xx
