Love this place. Excellent food, but also an excellent vibe, reflecting its engaging owner and the wall full of pics of various social renegades.

Great physical space, just the right size dining room and right number of seats. The menu was also the right size. Excellent wine list (the owner/somm nailed his rec, a Bordeaux), beef tartare and burger were stand out.

I love this quiet neighborhood French bistro. We ordered sbagliati and they were very good. I had the moules et frites and once again they didn’t disappoint. The broth is one of the best I have ever tasted. The Coubtry style bread is great, the baguette nothing to write home about. French fries could be improved. The big disappointment was my husbands eggs Benedict. It was sort of deconstructed but not really. Only one egg and the jam was like a slab of meat ungraciously sitting on top of the muffin. Not the best. Pavlova was ok. We will go again and hopefully it will be A+ as usual.

We really enjoyed our experience at L'Antagoniste. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The owner personally greeted us and stopped by our table to chat.

This was my second time and I brought my mom, who is super picky and complains a lot but she only had good things to say. That chicken continues to kill. It’s amazing. I do recommend booking on the earlier side if you’re In a rush cause it gets busy. Last time and this time I had the Spaetzle with my dish which is kind of a home food for me and has never disappointed. It was really lovely and perfect for a mother daughter dinner tonight
