   The place was dead....the server did her best...but we saw a total of two employees while dining on a Wednesday night...not sure if people did not show up to work or if the place is going out of business....the appetizer of Brussels was terrible, the warm fall salad sounded good...but wasn't. The filet was dry and the scallops were quarter sized in diameter...not worth $42 dollars. I hope they did not make the two servers in the restaurant also make the drinks and cook the food...but that would explain the poor experience. The worst fine dining experience of the decade. Oh, did I mention how dirty the place was...yikes.

   Reservations for 10 only to arrive and note said CLOSED. Sorry for inconvenience. Several folks at door waiting as well.

   Not sure how long this place will be around. On paper it looks fabulous. We were seated right away. Nice server gave us menus, asked if we'd like a drink. We asked for a wine list. She said she'd see if they had one. Did not, but told us what they had for the type of wine we wanted. We ordered that and two cocktails (there were four of us). Wine was brought to the table and as soon as it was discovered it was a cork, she took it back somewhere to open. Returned without cork and two glasses, set them both on the table and walked away. We poured our own glasses. She then went on to tell us everything they did not have, which was a considerable portion of their menu. We did try to order, but the first meal we asked about, we were told they had just sold out of that. So, we asked for the bill to pay so we could find another place to eat. Then find out that our bottle of wine was $100 - we were never given a price for it, but did not imagine it would be that much. We asked for the cork back so we could take the remainder with us. We were given a random cork that was found in the back. Luckily, it's a small town and our hotel was close by, so I could walk with an open bottle of wine to put back in our room. Such a disappointment.

   Romance package is not worth the money. Not one person acknowledged our anniversary. I got the wrong food and my husband didn’t even get his. This place has potential but so disappointing.

   Our server was attentive and helpful and so friendly. The food was delicious. We enjoyed our daughter’s birthday celebration there very much.

   I made a reservation through open table, and Facebook indicated that the restaurant was open, despite previous notices of it being closed. However, upon arrival I found the doors locked and the restaurant closed. This was quite disappointing and inconvenient. I hope they can improve their communication and update their status more accurately in the future.

   Have always enjoyed this place. However our experience was horrible last time….After being seated for two hours we were told they were having difficulty with our order…..we cancelled the entree orders and left. The people there seemed clueless.

   I came for the pan seared scallops and when they came they were definitely not pan seared. Chicken was dry, overall very unimpressed for the price point and claims their website made. Menus and seating were dirty as well. Wouldn’t visit twice.

   As a visitor to Huntington, WVA, this was our first time dining at Le Bistro. Atmosphere was very nice. Multiple Local Artists paintings presented on the dining room walls was a nice touch and they were for sale. Unfortunately they were very short of staff the evening we visited and the normal bartender had departed a couple of weeks earlier. Our server was very nice and helpful and we enjoyed talking with her after our dinner. However, the length of time from ordering our dinner to receiving it was very long. They only had about three other tables occupied as it was a weekday evening and very slow, so why it took so long we guessed they must have been also cooking for their sister restaurant downstairs. The food was presented well but slightly overcooked. We liked the restaurant and our server, so we would try it on another trip to Huntington, WVA. It is in the heart of Huntington and accessible to other attractions in the downtown area.

    A wonderful brunch with a larger party. It was a quiet Sunday but that isn’t usually the case as Le Bistro is often packed. We were pleased to get a table so easily!
