If you ask the brilliant minds behind Le Petit Paris, Fanny and David Rolland, They will say “We were born in a restaurant, literally”. From Grandpa to father, the restaurant business has been a natural part of their daily life.

They decided 15 years ago to create their first restaurant in Cannes, Le Petit Paris, Parisian brasserie, located in the middle of the international film festival city.

In order to give the opportunity of an unforgettable experience in Cannes to their international clientele, they decided to run a business on the beach with the combination of well being, relaxed and lay down on the beach with a cocktail and enjoying a gastronomic food.

David and Fanny were always striving to be surrounded by great collaborators in order to provide a real “savoir-faire” to their clients. They have been known worldwide now thanks to their hard work and dedication.

                                                                                            As a French restaurant, the overall experience couldn’t be worse, you have to ask for everything from the waiter, they are serving people randomly and yet charging 20% for gratuity. The food is also mediocre and overcooked, I couldn’t believe even the dessert tastes bitter (I ordered apple tart). Most importantly, they don’t tell you about the surcharge and if you ask, they will show you it says on the very bottom of the menu with the smallest font size which nobody will pay attention to. I definitely won’t go again, I suggest everyone spend their money elsewhere it’s not worth coming here.

                                                                                            There was only one server for the entire restaurant. The restroom was unattended there was no tissue anywhere in the restaurant. The old building looks very nice but is also very cold. The food was satisfying at a moderate price. However, the receptionist and the busser, as well would need more training. Overall, it is a nice place, but the management is off the track.

                                                                                            It's such a wonderful restaurant in DTLA. Le Petit Paris is charming, quaint, historical, and the food and service is fabulous! We started with a glass of champagne, then a martini and had a glass of a nice, hearty Bordeaux at dinner. The first course was escargot - perfect, with that delightful hint of garlic butter. Then the main course was beef bourguignon...so perfect with a rich sauce and fall-apart meat. We closed with beignets and mint tea. Wonderful evening. Will have to come back and experience the speak easy downstairs!

                                                                                            I don’t think my reservation notes went through, as my wife and I were seated in a noisy area for our anniversary. Also, the lack of attention to my pregnant wife in accommodations was appalling. I think the restaurant would have to work really hard for me to return.

                                                                                            Hade an amazing dinner. Perfect atmosphere and the food was impeccable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet brasserie in DTLA serving authentic and well made French staples. Will be back soon!

                                                                                            Returning for brunch after the pandemic, food was very good, unfortunately the service was uneven, the waitress forgot the food for one guest ( the birthday person, the information was repeated twice ) and then, the checking in with the table was slow, specially asking the refilling of drinking water, the dessert arrived late, my lemon crepe was cold, seemed it was seating for a while waiting to be delivered, the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time. We used to love this place. Not a satisfactory experience
