Established in the heart of Palm Springs at the foot of the San Jacinto Mountains, Le Vallauris has been one of the highest rated restaurants in the Coachella Valley since its inception in 1973. The exquisite cuisine at Le Vallauris is prepared by Executive Chef, Jean-Paul Lair, who has graced the restaurant for over 25 years. The Historic Landmark was built in 1927 as a home for the Roberson family, who managed Palm Springs' first hotel, The Desert Inn. Many grand parties were held in the house for guests such as Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong and many more. Later on, when the restaurant was established it became a favorite place for Presidents and the Hollywood elite, and local socialites.

                                                      We definitely recommend this place again. The the ambience and the service was great. The food was spectacular. Nice bottle of wine with lobster salad. The hubby had halibut and I had the lobster ravioli. You cant go wrong with those choices. Kat our server was very attentive and delightful to talk with.

                                                      One of the gorgeous dinner patios in Palm Springs. Food is classic and solidly prepared. Service is professional albeit with a noticeable tinge of a corporate vibe. (Side note: our waiter was having a bad evening and let it show through his rude and snarky comments throughout dinner. Was a bummer). Overall, though, Le Vallauris delivers good food and a memorable evening.

                                                      When we arrived, the maitre d’ told us that chef JeanPaul Lair was retiring and that they were transitioning to a new chef. If so, the change has been seamless. The food was excellent as always, as was the service and ambience.

                                                      I am going thru the menu with different entries and so far they have all been excellent. My wife is a vegan and she has been taken great care of with different slants of a vegan dish. It’s a great improvement from before. Seems like Le Vallauris has gone thru a wonderful transition with a new chief who cares for all their clients. A+ for making Le Vallauris more vegan friendly! Oh the lobster salad is I think better than before not sure I can put a finger on why but something is a bit different and more flavor plus if u like caviar or oysters they have the best!

                                                      Food and the ambience as usual was excellent.The oysters from PEI were small and sweet the veal dish I had was tender and delicious although I couldn't figure our what the dumplings that came with it tasted like
